Camp Report

The May bank holiday weekend camp was fully attended and a great success

The weather was generally good though the Sunday night was very cold. Most of the planned activities were achieved and they were enjoyed by all.

One of the activities at the camp was pedal go-karting, the photo shows the budding boy/girl racers of the Cub pack!

An outline of the main events:

Saturday: setting up the campsite; pedal go-karting; Cubs made plane launchers; camp fire with the other groups on site

Sunday: cooked breakfast; Scouts Own; Archery; Air rifle shooting; Climbing/Abseiling; Group camp fire with marshmallows

Monday: taking down the campsite; adventure course; visit to the campsite shop for souvenirs; home for a well-earned rest !
