Trip Report

The Scout troop spent the evening seeing the Christmas lights and some of the landmarks in London : Big Ben, The Houses of Parliament, The London Eye, The Cenotaph, Trafalgar Square and many others.

At Trafalgar Square two of the new Scouts, Ben and Leon, were invested next to the Christmas Tree

We all had a meal at MacDonalds near Piccadily Circus. An opportunity for a rest and to get out of the cold air.

The final part of the walk took us along Regent Street and we paid a short visit to Hamleys Toy Shop.

After a short tube journey we arrived back at Waterloo station where there was time for some final food shopping before getting our train home.

The tired, sleepy faces on the journey home showed the effect of the evening, but it was enjoyed by all.
