What about the uniform?
Uniform is not expected for the first couple of weeks while the new member settles in and learns what being a Cub Scout is all about.
Usually, after three weeks attendance, the Cub leader will discuss with you when the new Cub is to be formally admitted to the section (Invested). A Cub Scout uniform is required for this investiture to take place.
There are photos of recent investitures available for viewing.
The Group sometimes has some second-hand uniform items, but usually a new uniform is required to be purchased from Basingstoke Scouting Supplies. These requirements will be discussed with you.
Uniform requirements: A Cub Scout jumper and Cub Scout activity trousers. The Group provides the Group necker and all badges on investiture.
