What about the uniform?
Uniform is not expected for the first few weeks while the new member settles in and learns what being a Beaver Scout is all about.
Usually, after about three weeks attendance, the Beaver leader will discuss with you when the new Beaver is to be formally admitted to the section (Invested). A Beaver Scout uniform is required for this investiture to take place.
The Group sometimes has some second-hand uniform items, but usually a new uniform is required to be purchased from Basingstoke Scouting Supplies. These requirements will be discussed with you.
Uniform requirements: A Beaver Scout jumper and activity trousers. The Group provides the Group necker and all badges on investiture.
